about me
My Journey
Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing sports from the age of five, where competition, discipline, and teamwork became a major part of who I am.
Like many athletes, I understood the importance of training, working hard, and pushing myself to become better. I spent countless hours in the weight room, but I quickly realized something many people experience — working hard does not always mean you are training the right way.
I knew how to work out, but I didn't always understand the protocols behind building strength, improving performance, changing my body, and reaching specific goals. I found myself searching for answers: learning different training methods, testing new approaches, studying nutrition, and applying what I learned to my own journey.
Through years of self-experimentation, continuous learning, and helping friends improve their own fitness, I discovered my passion for coaching. I wanted to help people cut through the confusion and have a clear plan built around their goals.
That journey led me to become a personal trainer, where I have been able to help individuals improve their strength, confidence, and overall health through structured training and realistic approaches that fit their lives.
Today, I continue that mission as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach — helping people of all backgrounds build a stronger version of themselves.
Education
I believe great coaches never stop learning. The fitness industry is constantly evolving, and I believe it is my responsibility to continue expanding my knowledge so I can provide the best possible guidance to the people I work with.
My approach to training is built on the combination of education, experience, and years of applying different methods to myself, athletes, and clients. Through my studies in human movement, sport performance, and physical education, I have developed a deeper understanding of how the body adapts, how athletes improve performance, and how individuals can create sustainable results.
My education and certifications include:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education & Sport Performance
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Strength & Conditioning Coach
My background in education has also shaped the way I coach. I don't believe in simply giving someone a workout and expecting results. I believe clients should understand the purpose behind their training, learn how to make informed decisions, and develop the confidence to take ownership of their fitness journey.
By combining evidence-based training principles with practical coaching experience, my goal is to create programs that are effective, realistic, and designed to help each person continue progressing long-term.
A Legacy of Coaching & Developing Athletes
Coaching has always been a part of my life. I come from a long line of coaches who have dedicated their lives to developing athletes, building character, and creating a lasting impact through the game of football.
My grandfather coached Mogadore football for 51 years, my uncle has coached for over 45 years, and my father continues that tradition with over 35 years of coaching experience. Growing up around that environment taught me that coaching is about much more than wins and losses — it is about relationships, leadership, discipline, and helping people become the best version of themselves.
Today, I have the privilege of continuing that tradition as a coach for the Mogadore High School football program, serving as the quarterback coach and strength & conditioning coach.
As a quarterback coach, I help my athletes develop the technical skills, decision-making, confidence, and leadership qualities required to succeed at the position. As a strength and conditioning coach, I design and implement training focused on building stronger, faster, and more resilient athletes through proper movement, strength development, speed training, and performance-based programming.
My experience as a former All-State quarterback gives me a unique perspective when working with athletes because I understand the commitment, preparation, and mindset required to compete at a high level.
The same principles I teach athletes — discipline, consistency, preparation, and accountability — are the same principles I bring into personal training. Whether someone is an athlete preparing for their next season or someone working toward their own fitness goals, the foundation remains the same:
Build confidence. Develop strength. Become better every day.
